BAYER brought the authentic smack of BAUHAUS to FORTUNE. He settled in the States in 1938, his work having been shown in the DEGENERATE ART show (He had nevertheless designed a cheery brochure about life in Germany for the tourists arriving at Hitler's Olympics).
