03 E.McKnight Kauffer, Flight originally a woodcut done in 1916 (the reverse of this), and used as a motif in a speculative image submitted to the COLOUR magazine in 1917 as a design available for commercial advertisers. In 1919 the design was used by the new Labour Party newspaper the Daily Herald on launch.
