Liz Bruce is a Fine Art graduate of Exeter College of Art with a strong interest in printed textiles and decorative surfaces. She paints in gouache on paper from a wide range of subject matter where the unifying qualities are a richness of colour and pattern and precision of execution. The work reflects a keen eye for fresh, original and frequently overlooked material. |

Beard is a Fine Art graduate of Chelsea School of Art whose paintings
are a response to the rich and diverse maritime environment of South West
England. The starting point is one of observation but the finished paintings
have a quality of clarity and geometric precision and an intensity of
colour which reflects the brilliance of light as experienced by the sea.
Painters whose work serves as a constant inspiration include Stuart Davis,
Juan Gris and Fernand Leger. |
