Fred Pegram (1870-1937) also worked for PUNCH. His tonal work for these advertisements locates him in the earlier generation and it is significant I can't find any drawing commissioned from him by The Passing Show. The comparison with say Gilbert Wilkinson helps define the separate identities of the two magazines, PUNCH and The Passing Show. Pegram of course inherited from others the breezy striped concept of the Kodak Girl.
