|OTHERS - THE GIRLS' SCHOOL|
This is a large leatherbound album with a single image per page. There is the occasional page with two linked images. The paper size is 32 x 46 cms. Many of the photographs are bland scenic views, perhaps mostly purchased from tourists shops but every now and then there is a sharp and compelling vision of the landscape. I have scanned them for a big screen because the details throughout repay study.
There are some fascinating personal photographs in the Others section, including a group portrait of girls with a Garden Roller. The Ice Cave is a much reproduced image. The surfaces of the mountains are dotted with hearty climbers in inadequate suits and shoes.
I advise slow tracking through the immensity of each picture.
