STEEL HORIZONS was published by Alleghany Ludlum Steel Corporation in Pittsburgh from 1937 -1977. The individual issues lack cover dates but a recurring theme is the enormity of American steel productivity and the devastation of the war in Europe. Notice that two of the designs present one of his huge heraldic Suns with radiating rays. The Anchor cover allows him a perfect little furnace scene with air brush red hot with enthusiasm.

If a criticism has to be made, there is a superfluity of Metal with the monotony of its heen and outline, constrictung the range of surfaces he deploys. The left hand design on the bottom row is a design I suspect was never used perhaps because it was not sufficient metallic and was too vegtabular in overlap and pattern.
