Zdzlislaw Czermanski (1896-1970) born in Poland, studied art under Sishulski in Krakow and with Leger in Paris. He established a reputation as a satirical portraitist of the great and the good. The feature about Brazil shown above uses his sharp reportage drawings.He is said to have settled in the States in 1943 (having been invited over first in 1932).
