George Ernest Studdy (1878 - 1948)

One of those humorous illustrators associated with creating one nationally known graphic character - Bonzo the comic pup. He also drew the character for others to animate, and worked extensively for Punch and The Graphic . Once the formula was established, nothing was allowed to develop further.
